The General Body of AIMS elects the Executive Board for every year and the New Board takes charge after the AGM adopts the list of newly elected members. The Executive Board comprises the President, the Immediate Past President, the Treasurer, Four Regional Vice-Presidents and Nine Members.

The tenure of the Board is for one year, normally from August last week till the following AGM held in August.
